Rocky, Our 1st American and
Canadian Champion at the Michigan Nationals with his Star Junior
Handler Kimberly Harmon who was a teenager at the time, Who has
since grown all up in to a beautiful young lady.
Rocky is sadly gone now he was
along with his All star brother Coal, the start Of M&M Shelties and
what and who we are today:) Rocky Produced a Beautiful Daughter ,
Kirsten, whom resides with us still today that never really cared
for the show ring, but produced His Granddaughter M&M's That's Some
Beach, "Gwenny". She is a definite image of her grandfather and we
are happy to have something to carry on from him threw her.
Rocky will forever be remembered
as one of the 3 original musketeers. He certainly taught us patience
and how to wait for our gang to grow up and learn to wait and show
them when he was ready. He was the one that has started us out with
a vaulable lesson to be patient and just let them grow up and
mature. Bi-Blacks, our specialty color, need a few years under their
belt in most cases to mature and then go out and kick butt in the
rings and stir up the crowds! Rocky in his hay day certainly did
that!
Rocky is OFA
Excellent,DNA Certified, Thyroid Normal , MSU Eyes Cerfed Clear.
Rocky's Show record: Rocky
Finshed at the Wine Country Show Circuit in Geneva , New York (
Sampson Park ) with 3 majors and two 4 point major reserves to his
credit, finishing his Championship with 2 points extra! He
certainly finished with a Bang and in Grand style with His All Star
Handler Carol Gefell! A 4 day show circuit we'll never forget!
